Zürich Halloween Party!

Viendez à la soirée Halloween organisée par les couchsurfer! Parce que cette tradition à du bon! :o) Il est prévu de partir de lausanne Vendredi à 19h et de rentrer avec le premier train qui passe par là! voilu juste en dessous le descriptif complet de la soirée... @plus

COUCHSURFING HALLOWEEN PARTY !!!
What to expect:
- costume competition at midnight (with prizes!)
- live music by the PiRats (pirats.ch local CS band) and Drunken Trolley (drunkentrolley.com)
- DJs and music all night long
- drinks (5chf beers, 10 chf cocktails)
- entrance fee: 10 CHF with a costume (15 CHF without a costume)
We've already put a lot of work into this and think this could be a fantastic event. We rented the space (thus the cover charge) so we can have 150-200 people and a real, big, fun party for CouchSurfers and all their friends. Of course, we're not here to make profit and any money left over will be used for future CS events in Zurich.
About the costumes.... There is a common misconception that all Halloween costumes must be scary. No way! After a while, scary gets boring. Costumes can be scary but also funny, random, sexy, historical, movie, or whatever. Be creative. Google. Improvise.
There are multiple costume shops around town where you can buy/rent whole costumes, or little props you may need (wigs, make-up, etc). There is also already stuff at Coop, although not too much, there may be more in regular stores as Halloween gets closer. You can also put things together at home and not spend that much money. Brockenhaus may also be a good place to check out for funky strange cheap clothing (www.zuercher-brockenhaus.ch/). Here are some useful links:

If you are coming with your boyfriend/girlfriend/friends (which you should bring anyways!), make a group costume, those are always fun. If you're really nice to me, I (Dule) may sometimes show you photos from a Halloween a few years ago, when I dressed up as Cruella de Ville and my date as a little dalmatian ;-) There may also be a small pre-party, where we can get together to help each other with costumes, make-up, whatever. We'll let you know about that in a few weeks, closer to the actually party date.
